Gaming and eating have been worst enemies since for ever, but let's face it everyone must eat (unless you are a cyborg). The real problem comes when gamers try to eat and game at the same time. If you have did this before (you did, don't lie!) you will most likely have come face to face with the following demons:
- Crumbs and other nasty things on the keyboard. Good luck playing with keys not working!
- Greasy mouse/controller. Nothing makes you rage like a slippery controller.
- Inability to handle the chosen food with one hand.
While most gamers tend to eat junk food like pizza rolls, mars, bounty, cheetos, glazed doughnuts, friend chicken (no joke), juice, coke, and other sugary snacks, this is really wrong! Trust me, if your only exercise is twiddling your thumb on the controller the least you can do is give your body some good food.

So what makes a good gamer food? Two things:
- Food that is easy to prepare. You don't want to miss out on elite packs do you?
- Food that can be handled with one hand. Good luck killing the Butcher while eating ramen.
Here is our list of top 10 foods while playing Diablo 3:
10 - Taquitos

These one handed snacks are a Mexican dish and usually consist of a small tortilla rolled up against meat or chicken. You can make these yourself or buy them ready made, depending on how lazy you are.
9 - Granola Bars

Usually made from raisins, dried apricots, macadamia nuts, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, prune pieces, almonds, cashews, and a bunch of other high-fibre ingredients. Who said gaming food had to be unhealthy? You can craft this item yourself (no Blacksmith required) or buy them ready-made.
8 - Sushi Hand Rolls

Nothing says 1-handed like these tasty snacks. Made from special seaweed wrapped around rice, seafood, and vegetables, eating this food is the perfect way to level up your vitality in real life. No chopsticks required!
7 - Wheat Thins

Similar to Doritos but go down easier. They fit easily between your fingers for a quick bite between monster packs and are also very tasty. Try the ranch flavor if you don't believe me!
6 - Quesadillas

Another Mexican snack, this time made from a corn tortilla wrapped around cheese and other ingredients.
*Craftable item
5 - Mountain Dew

Not really food, but you have to mention this one. You probably already know about Mountain Dew since it has been a renowned gamer's food since the first game was invented. Still it never hurts to mention it again. Not as healthy as the other snacks in the list, but still healthier than other sodas, give this a try when you need that little sugar-rush boost to finish the last elite pack.
4 - Protein Shake

Liquid food has never been this nutritional. While many people think that protein shakes are for bodybuilders, they can be used by anyone looking for a meal replacement. Not only are they (most of the time) tasty, but they will also keep you full for at least 2 hours. If you go with this option, I suggest you buy a weight gainer as it has a more "filling" factor.
3 - Cereal

A basic yet effective choice which you probably already own anyway. A box of cereal next to your gaming station can go a long way in keeping your stomach grumble-free.
2 - Sandwich

Coming in at second place is the grandfather of all gaming food, the sandwich. Easy to make, crumble free, and can be made into literally millions of flavors, this tasty morsel will keep you going for hours on end.
Want to hear something interesting? Legend has it that the 4th Earl of Sandwich (yes, he really did exist) was such an addict to gambling that he did not have time to leave the card table. In order to sustain himself, he would order his servants to bring him meat packed between slices of bread. This routine was well known amongst his gambling friends and caused many of them to order the same by saying "the same as Sandwich!". Don't worry, you don't need to be a gambling addict to enjoy this snack!
1 - GamerFood

Having the same amount of energy as 3 red bull cans in each bag, GamerFood is a specially formulated snack just for you! There are currently 3 flavors available (original, honey roasted, and chilli lime) and each is infused with ginseng, caffeine, and taurine.
